We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and problem-solving Data Engineer to help manage and improve our data engineering infrastructure.

This position requires strong Python, SQL, database, and data pipeline skills. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Airflow pipelines, optimizing PostgreSQL databases, integrating external APIs, improving data reliability, and helping modernize existing data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production Airflow pipelines
  • Build reliable and scalable data pipelines
  • Optimize PostgreSQL queries and database performance
  • Integrate APIs and external data sources
  • Improve existing systems and technical debt

Must Have

  • 2+ years data engineering experience
  • Strong production Python and SQL
  • Hands-on Apache Airflow experience
  • Advanced PostgreSQL and database knowledge
  • Strong data modeling and optimization skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with TimescaleDB databases
  • Experience with Meta Marketing API
  • Knowledge of incremental and idempotent loads
  • Experience with data restatement workflows
  • Familiarity with legacy system modernization
